State of Delaware Child Support Project
Courtland Consulting has provided Implementation Planning services to the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Child Support Enforcement, DACSES Replacement Project since April of 2012. Our responsibilities include the coordination of all readiness activities that lead up to Statewide cutover to the new Delaware Child Support System (DECSS) application. In addition, our role is to prepare the system users in each county for conversion to the new DECSS application and provide customer support following the system conversion to assure proficiency and productivity.
Courtland’s experienced team has worked closely with their State and Prime vendor counterparts on preparation and planning activities which included:
- Business Change Management Support
- Training Support – Training Materials Review, Training Delivery Support, Training System Sandbox Support, and Training Workshops
- Go-Live Support – Readiness Assessment, Reference Data Validation and Go-Live Command Center
- On-Site Support
- Help Desk Support
The statewide go live date for the new DECSS application is scheduled for October 2013. The Courtland Team has identified appropriate ratios with which to staff the implementation and training support effort. Delaware will benefit from Courtland’s system implementation experience by having support staff on board and trained at the right time, ensuring that quality support is available before, during and after the launch of the application.
